IPIC Responds to the Government's Consultation on Governance Framework for Intellectual Property Agents

IPIC responded to the second part of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's consultation on a governance framework for patent and trademark agents. In the submission, we provide:

- comments on the three proposed governance models;

- answers to the questions posed in the consultation document; and

- options and recommendations for the various aspects of a proposed College of Patent and Trademark Agents of Canada including a further revised code and a detailed disciplinary process.
