Candidates for these Tutorials should be planning to sit for the Trademark Agent Examination.
Format
The Tutorials consist in practice exercises modeled after Part A and Part B of the Exam. Answers to the questions will be marked by tutors and reviewed in a two-part webinar series on November 5 & 6, 2020, 12 pm – 2:30 pm (ET).
The practice exercises will be distributed to candidates after the registration deadline of September 15, 2020. All candidates will be required to submit written answers to the exercises by October 9, 2020.

Exam
On June 26, 2020, the Canadian Intellectual Property Office published a notice on their website advising the Trademark Agent Qualifying Examination would take place on November 24, 2020.
In consideration of ongoing restrictions and physical distancing measures, the decision has been taken to proceed with the administration of the 2020 Trademark Agent Qualifying Examination electronically. In accordance with subsection 18(3) of Trademarks Regulations, the examination will take place online on November 24, 2020, for Part A and November 25, 2020, for Part B.
The exact nature and details of the electronic delivery will be communicated at a later date, well in advance of the exam sessions.

Financial aid may be available for students whose tuition fees are not paid by an employer. Applicants will be considered on the basis of their annual income. Please contact the IPIC office at admin@ipic.ca or 613-234-0516.
CANCELLATION POLICY
A refund is available up to and including September 15, 2020 less a $50 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be issued after September 15, 2020, but substitutions will be considered.
