When the Madrid Protocol is used to protect trademarks outside of Canada, trademark administrators face a unique set of administrative considerations. In this webinar, presenters will provide guidance on how to file and manage outgoing Madrid applications from an administrative perspective, discussing topics such as the following:
- introduction to Madrid Protocol
- overview of the international registration process
- filing an Application for International Registration with CIPO as the office of origin
- types of correspondence to expect from WIPO
- docketing best practices
- managing international registrations
