Held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, 1 pm - 2 pm ET
On International Women’s Day, join Sana Halwani in conversation with Dr. Stephanie Kelley, Assistant Professor at the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, whose research focuses on the ethics of analytics and AI in organizations. Stephanie and Sana will explore the way gender bias manifests in the AI space, what we can do about it, and how AI may help us address gender bias. Some of the questions they will explore are:
- How does gender bias get reflected or amplified in AI?
- What kind of initiatives and governance solutions are being put into place to address gender bias in AI?
- How does explainable AI factor into the gender bias conversation?
- How can AI help to reduce bias?
