Many companies with significant intellectual property assets struggle to access capital. BDC has taken on this problem with the launch of its new BDC Capital program for IP-rich companies looking for financing to enable the commercialization of their product, increase their competitiveness and expand globally. BDC Capital, the investment arm of the Business Development Bank of Canada, is acting as a first mover and innovator since this is a first of its kind fund in Canada.
Join Lally Rementilla, Managing Partner, Intellectual Property-Backed Financing at BDC and Anthony de Fazekas, leading IP strategist and Head of Norton Rose Fulbright’s technology and innovation group as they discuss the struggles innovative business have in accessing capital and how BDC’s new Capital program will help address those needs.
