Held on Friday, May 24, 2024, 12 pm - 1 pm ET
This continuing professional development webinar is offered on a complimentary basis to Certified Canadian Patent Administrators (CCPA) who have passed the Patent Administrator Certification Examination AND are members of IPIC.
The Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and allows applicants to file for a patent in as many as 157 member countries through a single International Patent Application in Canada. WIPO's online portal, ePCT, offers a streamlined platform for filing and managing PCT applications.
This session will cover how to use ePCT to file an international patent application designating Canada as the Receiving Office. Presenters will offer administrative tips for managing a PCT application, including making changes, receiving correspondence, and best practices for docketing deadlines related to PCT applications.
