Employment Law Aspects of IP Practice
Tuesday, July 16 1pm - 2pm ET
Held on Tuesday, July 16 1pm - 2pm ET
Awareness of legal topics outside the confines of IP has become a necessity as IP practitioners increasingly assume the role of trusted advisor. Perhaps no legal issues come up more frequently (and with more serious consequences) than those touching upon employment law. For example, what steps should a client take when managing its workers to secure its IP rights? What should the client do if an employee absconds with its IP?
IPIC is pleased to welcome two experienced Labour & Employment practitioners to discuss their thoughts on the employment law aspects of IP practice.
