Domain names are often strong components of a brand’s online image and have become critical to the framing of effective trademark strategies. Our intellectual property eco-system has experienced a few firsts since the pandemic, one of which has been a steady increase globally in the number of ADR disputes pertaining to domain names. In this webinar, experts will share their insights on domain name disputes and ADR from a global and national perspective. Focus points will include:
- What are the connections between trademark rights, domain names and brand management?
- What role does ICANN and now the UDRP play in resolving domain name disputes?
